After departing from Black River, you will head to Tamarin Bay so you can encounter dolphins in their natural habitat. This is a unique chance to explore the lives of these magnificent marine mammals in their aquatic habitat.

From Tamarin Bay the catamaran cruise will continue along the coral reefs to the lagoon of La Preneuse.

During the cruise, in some key locations, the catamaran will stop for snorkeling breaks, where you can enjoy a swim and snorkeling inside the lagoon or enjoy the sun and drinks on board the catamaran.

The west coast is rich with marine life, and it is a great opportunity to have a glimpse into the beauty of Mauritius’ amazing underwater world. You will be able to see the amazing marine life, full with hundreds of bright-colored fish!

About Benitiers Island: Benitiers Island (Île aux Benitiers) is a rather large island, with coconut plantations. The island is lying off La Gaulette. On the northern tip of the main island there are small colonies of migratory birds. The island is located inside the big lagoon of the west coast, totally protected from waves and sea currents.
